Born and raised on a ranch in Oklahoma, Cody spent 7 years working on multiple feature films, such as August Osage County as well as commercials with Kevin Durant & Russell Westbrook. While teaching & competing in taekwondo Cody received an opportunity to work as a documentary filmmaker for Team USA in the 2016 Olympics, where he fell in love with telling personal stories. From there Cody moved to Los Angeles to work on The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez and eventually to study at The University of Southern California’s graduate program in Film and Television Production. There he specialized in editing and documentary filmmaking.
