Overland
The stories in OVERLAND offer a stunning cinematic journey across four continents that twists and turns like nature itself, bridging ancient to modern, east to west, and earth to sky. Immersed in remote deserts, mountains, and grasslands, three extraordinary people from contrasting cultures practice the ancient art of falconry to wake their inner wilds. In their quests to connect to the natural world, Lauren, Giovanni, and Khalifa must overcome social rejection, vanishing traditions, dwindling wilderness, elusive prey and the complicated instincts of their falcons, eagles, and hawks.
Elisabeth Haviland James, Revere La Noue

Summer Dean
Summer Dean makes music rooted in Telecaster twang, southern storytelling, and the rugged resilience of the American West, it’s the sound of a lifelong Texan whose songs evoke her tough, independent spirit. Her full-length debut album Bad Romantic struts out of the speakers, but also finds moments of tenderness and vulnerability.

Olive Vox
"Olive Vox is the creation of singer-songwriter Parker James and his brother guitarist-songwriter Caden Shea. Originally from Orange County, CA, Parker & Caden moved to Texas as pre-adolescent kids searching to fit into a new landlocked environment. A skateboard accident sidelined Parker with a broken arm requiring metal plates and screws. Parker took advantage of his down time away from skating and football to concentrate on music, gaming and social media. Parker would spend the next couple years honing his music, especially lyric writing. Eventually he’d form a one man project called LOVELORN and release music on Soundcloud. Lovelorn gave him the chance to put the lyrics to music and to expand his melodic range. At the same time Parker was finding an audience online, quickly becoming a breakout creator on TikTok with his lifestyle and comedy videos, as the app launched. Parker patiently waited for Caden Shea, his younger brother, to discover his love for guitar so they could do music together. Spending hours perfecting his craft, Caden listened to the music that inspired him most, from indie fuzz rock to the discovery of classic grunge. As early as age 11 Caden was writing dozens of songs, recording them into his iphone in hopes that one day his dream of a real band would materialize. In 2020 Parker banded together with Caden who had, by now, become both a formidable guitar player and songwriter. Olive Vox was born. During the COVID induced lockdown Parker and Caden developed their sound influenced by psychedelic indie rock pioneer Ty Segall, garage rock, 90s grunge mainstays Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and 2000s Jack White, Cage the Elephant and more. Their Gen Z perspective makes the music they play resonate to an audience searching for a new, yet familiar, sound to embrace. Olive Vox debuted LIVE at Levitation Festival in Austin, Texas in late October 2021. The band’s self-titled debut album is set for release February 25th."

Monolord
It is undeniable that we live in uncertain and troubled times, a period of which this pandemic we’re struggling through is but the latest and perhaps most evident aspect. Life is increasingly complicated and burdens seem to get harder and harder to carry with each passing year, so the need to seek solace and to take refuge in things that you know you can count on becomes more and more urgent. Well, dear friend, put down those burdens for a little while, because Monolord have got your back. Ever since 2013, when the dormant power of the Monolord became too much for a simple boogie rock band called Marulk – featuring a certain Thomas V Jäger and Esben Willems respectively on guitars/vocals and drums already – to contain, that this Swedish trio’s almost endearingly relentless dedication to The Riff has been something you can count on, almost as sure as the sun that rises every morning above your head. Thomas and Esben joined bassist Mika Häkki, and ever since then they have been compelled by the power of the riff, with no time for any frills like line-up changes or inane experimentations just for the sake of it. Theirs is a higher calling, a purer statement of intentions. After all, their bandname is “a paraphrase of an unspeakable name of an unspeakable entity that not even we dare to mention,” as Esben explains. And if you don’t like that description, Thomas has another suggestion: “make one up, and it is true!"
