TAKEOVER explores the twelve historic hours on July 14, 1970, in which fifty members of the Young Lords Party stormed the dilapidated Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx, drove out their administrative staff, barricaded entrances and windows, and made their cries for decent healthcare known to the world. Through archival footage, seamless reenactments, and modern-day interviews, we follow the Young Lords’ resistance against institutions curated by wealth and white supremacy, and their fight for the most basic of human rights: the right to accessible, quality healthcare.

FEELING THROUGH, the first film to star a DeafBlind actor, is a coming of age story that follows Tereek, a teen wandering the streets of New York, desperate for a place to crash when he encounters Artie, a DeafBlind man in need of help getting home. From an awkward meeting between strangers emerges an intimate bond, and a journey that forever changes Tereek. FEELING THROUGH was a 2021 Academy Award nominee.

Vince Anderson dropped out of seminary to follow his second calling - music. With his band The Love Choir, he has played a now-legendary weekly show for over twenty years. Reconnecting with his faith and using his soulful music, he preaches a type of spirituality that meets people where they are, is open to all, and moves everyone that sees him play. Vince is also involved in social activism, working with other faith leaders around the country to build inclusive communities. Jay Jay Patton was only 13 when she designed and built Photo Patch, a mobile app to help kids send photos and letters to incarcerated parents. Jay Jay’s own dad was in prison for five years. Jay Jay and her dad founded Unlock Academy, a school that teaches coding and provides mentoring to enable young people of color to have careers in STEM fields. GENERATION IMPACT is a new docu series that features teenage entrepreneurs using technology to break barriers and better their communities. THE CODER is the first film in the series.
