A glimpse into the lives of an eccentric New York family, CHARM CIRCLE follows filmmaker Nira Burstein as she attempts to bridge the fractured relationships between herself and her family. Emotional and accomplished, especially in the way it weaves together decades-old home videos and contemporary footage, the film crafts a powerful family portrait that questions the value of the bonds that tie us together. Burstein’s brave, wryly amusing first feature is as loving as it is unpredictable. With moments of humor, music and creativity, Charm Circle finds compassion in places most challenging.

THE CANNONS is a documentary feature film following the lives of two Black teenage hockey players and one legendary coach, in one of America’s toughest neighbourhoods: Southeast, Washington DC. Part coming of age story, part social-political commentary on the Black American experience, the film chronicles the Fort Dupont Cannons, one of America's only predominately Black hockey teams, as they must overcome the challenges of life on and off the ice.

The film GO THROUGH THE DARK tells a story about the challenges of an 11-year-old blind boy and his father who depend on each other. The boy’s blindness, family background, and society they live in—which block them from chasing their dream to make the boy a professional Go player, and the tough decisions they need to make on the way of pursuing dream.

"Final Broadcast is a 3 piece band from Denton Texas. Singer/guitarist-Ian Messerli, bassist-Tony Bustamante and drummer-Bill Kensik, formed the band to share their love of writing, recording and performing. Ian had spent years toiling away by himself, writing and recording countless songs but missing out on the volley of ideas that comes from working with other musicians. He dabbled in every genre of music trying to find a style that represented who he was as a songwriter. Finding someone who understood where he was coming from was challenging until he found a kindred spirit in Bill Kensik. The band itself started with a chance meeting between Bill and Ian through mutual friend and original bassist Keith Faulkner. The creative chemistry shared by the two of them fueled a great combination of rhythm and melody that sparked a true musical bond. Bill's mix of power and intricacy behind the drum kit brought an urgency and strength to the songs Ian had been developing. Although started in 2018, the band didn't really take shape until the addition of Tony Bustamante. Tony and Ian spent years touring and performing as founding members of the Dallas Pop Rock band Valve, and the opportunity to work together again proved to be effortless and fruitful. His addition brought a rich and stylized sound that truly fleshed out what Final Broadcast has become. Drawing from influences ranging from 90's Alternative, Shoegaze, Brit Pop, Classic Rock and even some Electronica, the sound that they have cultivated is both new, and reminiscent of the sounds of the past. With brute force drumming, the punishing growl of the bass, a swirling buzzsaw of guitars, and melody filled vocals, there is a wall of sound coming from this trio."

Vince Anderson dropped out of seminary to follow his second calling - music. With his band The Love Choir, he has played a now-legendary weekly show for over twenty years. Reconnecting with his faith and using his soulful music, he preaches a type of spirituality that meets people where they are, is open to all, and moves everyone that sees him play. Vince is also involved in social activism, working with other faith leaders around the country to build inclusive communities. THE REVEREND is a rocking concert film and an intimate portrait of Reverend Vince’s inspiring personal and spiritual life.
